MGAA Annual Conference

I really love my job !

Today I’m attending the impressive MGAA conference right on the Thames – meeting many old friends and making plenty of new ones.

MGAs…..powering innovation in insurance 😎

Camelot…creating connections, releasing potential

Insurance Transformation Summit (Moneynext) June 2024

AI – enabling the insurance of the future. Just moderated a fascinating panel on the practical application of AI in insurance. Thanks to Alana Robertson, Ramitha Soysa, and Sunil Menon for sharing their great insights. It’s happening slowly in specific areas but with huge potential upsides and, of course, inherent risks. Data quality is crucial. A useful model of a Digital Sherpa is emerging, where AI supports human decision-making.

Insurance Breakfast Club, 2nd May 2024

What amazing talent in the insurance industry!

I had the privilege of being an expert at the Insurance Breakfast Club training event yesterday where the delegates showcased their public speaking skills – which were superb. Speaking in front of a large audience can be a nerve racking experience, but with the right training, encouragement and support, it can be mastered – as so clearly demonstrated yesterday.

They “owned” the stage, were genuinely authentic and real, very informative and really engaging with the audience. If there are any insurance conference organisers reading this – what a great selection of confident female panelists to choose from….I know I am going to be inviting them to speak at my Camelot events 🙂

Massive well done to everyone on the IBC course and to the amazing team that pulled it all together on the day and of course to the brains and passion behind it all, Katherine Bryant.

Everyone – take a well earned bow and a nice long weekend !
