SENSE Consortium

Thank you all for making the SENSE Consortium launch such a great event!

Expert guests, industry specialists & our Advisory Board debated the key themes & challenges in the use & adoption of #InternetofThings & #DigitalTwin technologies.

Some of our key takeaways:
– these technologies are a win win for insurers & clients so we need to overcome the challenges of adoption
– there is a call for new business models & a need to work across organisational boundaries
– the business case needs to include the capex, opex & sustainability benefits
– there is a deep focus on overcoming customer pain points of #commercialpropertymanagement & saving energy usage.

If you joined us, what were your key takeaways?

A big thanks to our lead sponsor EY, with Chris Payne & Ian Meadows sharing some great industry insights.

Thank you to both of our sponsors Anthony Peake from Intelligent AI Limited & Iain Wilcox from GWT Insight.

And thanks to Mark Budd from Zurich Insurance Company Ltd for supporting such a fantastic event!

SENSE

What if you could monitor, detect & prevent loss in Commercial Property, helping customers stay open for business… and turn a loss making portfolio into profit, whilst helping to meet sustainable development goals…

Sounds great right?

We know that IoT sensors & devices reduce damage through early detection of issues; they improve risk management and in so doing, reduce the cost of risk to customers and insurers. With a major ‘side’ benefit of monitoring & optimising electricity usage.

What’s not to like!

This is what the new SENSE Consortium will drive forward – real change & adoption of IoT, use cases and benefits of this ‘new’ data in Commercial Property.

CAMELOT NETWORK MARKS TWO-YEAR ANNIVERSARY WITH REBRANDING PLAN

Did you know The Camelot Network featured on some leading insurance magazines recently?

With an official press release about our rebranding, this article about The Big Launch really set this event apart from every other – and for good reason!

The Big Launch was our most-attended event yet, with 175 members of the insurance and financial services industries attending, networking, and experiencing the sheer power of the network.

This is just another way The Camelot Network has made an impact since its conception in 2018. As our attendees said at The Big Launch, it really is a ‘successful’ and ‘very unique’ model – and we can’t wait to see it keep growing.

Insurance 3.0 Insurtech conference 8th October 2020

I’ll be hosting break out sessions at the Insurance 3.0 Insurtech conference, alongside Chris Carney from The Camelot Network. Chris has in-depth experience in combining operations, technology and placement strategies to deliver digital transformation in insurance.

There are lots of exciting topics being discussed at Insurance 3.0‘s event . We often talk about the shiny new tech, but rarely about what it takes to implement and use it correctly – the all-important human ecosystem that you need to be successful.

Andy StevensonChris Carney and I will be hosting a breakout room. Andy is a transformation leader in general insurance, and member of The Camelot Network, so this is a wonderful opportunity to get to know a few really experienced and well-established professionals!

Auto Insurance: Preparing for a Post Covid-19 Landscape

I really enjoyed moderating a fantastic discussion on data and technology in the wake of Covid-19 for a recent CISI webinar. Thanks to The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI) team, and to panelists Michael DimopoulosKirit Teli and fellow member of The Camelot NetworkBlandine Arzur-Kean, for sharing your expertise – made for a really interesting and informative debate on improving the technology implementation cycle in the ‘new normal’.
